– Objective: SWBAT use knowledge of ecological principles, a basic understanding of biomolecular nutrition, and original ideas to participate in a Socratic discussion about modern food systems

– Warm-up: Should access to healthy food be a right for everyone? Why or why not? [3]

– Socratic-style discussion on warm-up question [25]

– Some inspiration for the ESLP [10]

– Introduction to cellular biology and basic cell types [15]


HOMEWORK:

– Look at ESLP website, the possible projects, and think about which one(s) appeal to you—you must select a project or begin a proposal for your own by this Thursday/Friday.
