Daily Summary 04-21

AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE

AGENDA:

- Objectives: Recall concepts and terminology from WGHS APES Units 1-12 to correctly answer as many questions as possible on the mock AP Environmental Science Exam

- Warm-up: Take out 4 sheets of lined paper and at least 1 sharpened #2 pencil. Place all belongings under your desk—you will not be permitted to access them again until the exam is officially over—and quietly await further instructions [5]

- Mock AP Environmental Science Exam, Part I [90]

- Break [15]

- Mock AP Environmental Science Exam, Part II [90]


OUTSIDE OF CLASS:

- Personal Trash Audit Lab with Project Pre-Lab (DUE 4/21)

- Briefly review all unit study guides and old exams and refresh your memory on concepts and terms you cannot instantly recall

BIOLOGY

AGENDA:

- Objectives: Use all of the skills learned/developed during our unit on formal research skills to continue scholarly research on the topic you have selected for your symposium presentation/lesson

- Warm-up: Take out and consult your personal agenda for this week (I will check for 10 project points)—make sure you are on track to complete your goals for this week and that you will be ready for your chosen symposium presentation date [5]

- Have you answered these questions definitively for your two remaining major projects in this class? (see separate list)

- Interviews with Mr. Bursch and projects work time [100+]


OUTSIDE OF CLASS:

- Continue your own research and symposium lesson planning

- Work on the steps/parts of your ESLP that you have planned to work on this week
