- Objectives: Listen carefully to presentations of our guest instructors and respectfully ask questions when appropriate

- Warm-up: Please take out cell phones and switch to silent mode, place them in your bags, and do not take them out again unless asked to do so [5]

- Science Research and Symposia Project work will resume on 4/6

- Don’t forget about the Genetics Engineering Challenge!


OUTSIDE OF CLASS:

- Begin brainstorming a list of potential topics for your research project

- Objectives: Identify alternatives to fossil fuels and the pros and cons of the most developed realistic alternative energy sources

- Warm-up: Which household activities/appliances would you expect to consume the most energy?

- Using a reasonable estimate for the amount of energy used per day by the activity you selected, determine the total energy used per year for this activity/appliance (in kWh). [10]
