- Objectives: (1) Use thoughtful analogies to help yourself and your peers to understand the essential functions of major cell parts; (2) Review intro to cells unit materials for exam

- Warm-up: Take out laptops and open your copy of the introduction to cells unit review guide [5]

- Review intro to cells unit materials for exam on Monday [15 - 20]

- Present Cell Analogies slideshow project to your assigned peer evaluation group—turn in peer evaluation form and slideshow to shared Google Drive biology folders [20]

- Intro to cells unit exam on next class day


OUTSIDE OF CLASS:

- Continue working on ESLP project (BioSITE teaching again this FRIDAY)

- Objectives: Describe in detail the methods of food production used by humanity and the impacts these practices have on all parts of the biosphere

- Warm-up: How has agriculture affected humans and the environment? [5]

- Introduction to and overview of Unit 6 (Agriculture) [5]

- Soil Analysis Lab [10]

- Lecture 1: Food Production [20]

- Allelopathy Lab formal report due tomorrow in Google Drive folders by midnight

- All lab notebooks must now be in my possession in order to receive any credit for the labs scheduled for scoring


OUTSIDE OF CLASS:

- Complete and submit Allelopathy Lab by 11:59 pm on 12/6

- Read “Farm Lobby” article
