- Warm-up: Introduction to Cell Analogies project [7]

- Review cell theory [10]

- Eukaryotes/Prokaryotes Venn Diagram [15]

- Review of essential cell structures (do this with your cell analogies project partner—the presentation is on the class website)


OUTSIDE OF CLASS:

- Continue working on ESLP project (BioSITE meeting Tuesday; REMEMBER TO GET 4TH PERIOD TEACHER TO SIGN YOUR PERMISSION SLIP!)

- Objectives: Familiarize yourself with WGHS APES Unit 5b major topics in order to facilitate incorporation of new concepts into your existing mental framework for environmental science

- Warm-up: How does hunger affect the overall development of human society? In a world of plenty, why are so many people food insecure (including over 42 million in the US alone)? [7]

- Check on Seed Density Lab seeds (Analysis DUE 12/1) [7]

- Key concepts review from Lectures 1, 2, and 3 [10]

- Lecture 4: Hunger [10 - 15]


OUTSIDE OF CLASS:

- Review for Unit 5b Exam

- Complete “Age structure Diagram” and “How Will Our Population Grow?” assignments for Tuesday, 11/29

- Work on Allelopathy Lab and Seed Density Lab (DUE DEC. 1)
