- Objectives: Be able to (1) explain the basic organization and composition of a biological cell; (2) describe the process by which cells reproduce / multicellular organisms grow larger; (3) explain how plant cells convert light energy and inorganic compounds into energy-storing organic compounds; (4) explain how cells convert biomolecules like lipids and carbs into usable energy for powering cell activities; and (5) explain the main forms of transport across biological membranes

- Warm-up: Take out Cells Unit Review Guide and circle any/all questions you would like to discuss in class today [5]
