- Objectives: Be able to (1) describe the major differences between eukaryotic-type and prokaryotic-type cells; (2) explain the basic organization and composition (in terms of biomolecules) of a biological cell

- Warm-up: What does a cell look like? What SI unit would you probably use to measure most cells? Why do you think most cells are the size they are? [7]

- Introduction to Cells [10]

- Make a Venn Diagram on Google Docs using the drawing tools in which you compare/contrast prokaryotes with eukaryotes [20]

- Begin Cell Analogies Project or Work on enzyme experiments [60]


HOMEWORK:

- (1) Enzyme lab report; (2) Work on Cell Analogies Project; (3) Work on Student Blog Post Assignments #3, #4, & #5 for TSOTS
