- Objective: SWBAT to write 3 statements of cell theory & compare/contrast prokaryotes & eukaryotes

- Warm up: Describe a biological cell [3]

- Get a book, read section 7-1, answer questions 1, 2, & “Alternative Assessment,” get them checked [20]

- Check out computer and go to www.cellsalive.com to view the “How Big is a” animation, start HW

- Turn in Toothpickase assignment (now late) [~2]


HOMEWORK: Revisit the cellsalive.com website, estimate how many times bigger the head of the pin is compared to a red blood cell

- Turn in a completed Toothpickase assignment at the computer cart (it’s your ticket for a computer) [2]

- Transplant your group’s plants to garden when called out to do so (send two reps) [5]

- Make TSOTS blog edits and new page (see instructions on TSOTS project master blog) [40]


HOMEWORK: Publish any TSOTS blog assignments you are missing
