Daily Summary 05-05

– Objectives: SWBAT explain the specific types of selection that can occur and how this idea fits in with the larger theory of evolution

– Warm-up: What is meant by selective forces or pressures (as in natural selection)? Give or make up a couple of examples. [5]

– Discussion of polygenic traits and types of selection [20]

– Darwin’s Dangerous Idea continued [20]

– Get any last assignments from the Genetics Unit stamped and turn in stamp log from genetics unit [5]
