IN CLASS:

- Objective: Correctly name (in correct sequence) and describe the stages of mitosis with no more than one error

- Warm up: Take out your mitosis lab activity handout and review the pre-activity section with a seat neighbor [2]

- Complete observations, drawings, and descriptions for mitosis microscope lab activity (the whitefish blastula cell is extra credit) [15]

- Go over mitosis microscope lab activity analysis and conclusion questions [8]

- Read section 11-4 in text on meiosis, answer “My Oh My Oh…MEIOSIS” questions and start working on color meiosis diagram (use figure11-15 on pp. 276-277 as a guide) [20]


HOMEWORK: (1) Finish “My Oh My Oh…MEIOSIS” questions; (2) finish genetic condition projects; (3) meiosis drawing
