– Objectives: SWBAT describe the structure of a DNA nucleotide, the DNA double helix, chromatin, and a eukaryotic chromosome 

– Warm-up: About 6 feet (1.6 million micrometers) of DNA can be found in the nucleus of a typical human cell, but the cell itself is usually no bigger than 10 or 20 micrometers in diameter. Explain how this is possible. [5]
