– Objectives: SWBAT explain what substance abuse is, how to recognize the signs, and what one can do to deal with / avoid it

– Warm-up: Describe the process of a person reacting to a bee sting. What would happen from the moment of the sting until the person started to deal with the stinger in terms of nerve impulses and the various parts of the nervous system? Use the terms below: [5]
•motor neuron, brain, interneurons, spinal cord, pain receptor

– Co-Teaching: The Nervous System, Drugs, and Substance Abuse [55]

– Decision making

– Work on ESLPs

– Turn in Hominid Skull Lab for late credit until FRIDAY!
