AGENDA:

- Objectives: Name and explain your preferences for collecting and managing information

- Warm-up: How do you presently keep track of information? What are the advantages and drawbacks to each of these media and methods [5]

- View/review and discuss examples of journaling and note-taking [15]

- Establish a “Research” folder in your Google Drive biology turn-in folder and create a journal file for capturing any research-relevant information/ideas (activity descriptions, resources, plans, questions, preliminary hypotheses, design ideas, reflections, criticisms, estimates etc.) [25]

- Add some items to your “Research Radar” file/list

- Turn in Spring 2015 Update signature section—signed!


OUTSIDE OF CLASS:

- TSOTS Blog Post Assignment #9 [35 - 40]
