- Objectives: Define additional genetics terms (see next slide) and use them to correctly answer questions about the flow of genetic information from generation to generation and the maintenance of genetic diversity of life on Earth

- Warm-up: Why do most organisms look very similar to but not exactly the same as their parent organisms? [6]

- Genetics with a Smile activity (period 5 only) [25]

- Explanation of meiosis and comparison to mitosis [25]

- Genetics Virtual Triathlon: Leg 1: group discussion, report out (Monday for 5th) [25]

- Replacement Credit: Meiosis performance art: write and perform (next week) a short song, skit, dance, or poem which accurately explains meiosis in detail

- Bikini Bottom Genetics Practice (start in class, DUE Monday)
