Objectives: SWBAT (1) demonstrate transcription and translation (protein synthesis, a.k.a. “Central Dogma of Biology”) on paper and (2) describe the three basic kinds of DNA mutations that are possible and what kinds of consequences can result

Warm-up: Describe two different kinds of DNA mutation and explain any difference in the potential consequences of these changes. [5]

Work on TSOTS Student Blog Post #6: How Does Your Garden Grow?

Show me your DNA and Central Dogma Review and, if you have not already, Transcription and Translation practice #2, and Case study: “Meselson and Stahl Experiment”
