- Objectives: Describe the processes of transcription and translation with no major factual errors and transcribe and translate a “sense” strand of DNA with no more than 1 error
- Warm-up: If a cell suddenly was in need of a particular protein, like amylase (an enzyme used to break down starch into simpler sugars) for example, how would the molecular machinery of the cell know what the correct sequence was for the string of amino acids that forms amylase so that it could build this polypeptide?

- DNA structure/wrapping/replication quiz (POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT CLASS PERIOD) [30]
