Daily Summary 03-13 and 03/14

IN CLASS:

- Objective: Make reasonable connections between the material presented in “The Botany of Desire” and what we have studied in our Genetics Unit (genes, independent assortment, etc.)

- Warm up: Take out “The Botany of Desire” handout and review all four chapters--be prepared to discuss each one [10]

- Turn in any late work [10~]

- Class discussion: “The Botany of Desire” [20]

- More patterns of heredity: Sex chromosomes and linkage [25]


HOMEWORK: X-linked traits handout (due Thursday)
