AGENDA:

– Objective: SWBAT explain known types of transport across cell membranes
– Warm-up: How can large and/or electrically charged molecules pass through a cell’s membrane (keep in mind that they cannot simply diffuse through like water can)? [3]

– Cell Analogy Presentations—use Peer Response Form [30]

– Cell transport notes review (whole class) [15]

– Finish Egg-cellent diffusion demonstration [15]

– Finish looking at garden microorganisms (living cells!) [25]

– Stamp Tuesday’s/Wednesday’s guided reading [~10]
– Come to my desk to sign up for an ESLP project [~25]


HOMEWORK:

– Look at topics for Co-Teaching Experiment and choose at least three that sound interesting

– Work on Cell Analogy Presentation mini-project [50]

– Stamp HW [~10]
